We are sailing the Caribbean and you can find us somewhere between the Bahamas and Grenada!

Why Maho?

Maho Bay in St. John USVI is our "happy place". We honeymooned there and it is our go to destination. We of course googled Maho before making our final decision on the name and found:

  •  Maho, a West Indian Caribbean slang term for a man who spends too much time drinking beer and fishing on the  beach

  •  Maho, a tropical hibiscus tree common throughout the Caribbean

  •  Maho, a name of Japanese origin meaning 'truth', depending on the characters used the Ma meaning 'love' and the  Ho meaning 'to cross a body of water'
